The Boston Celtics had an impressive season in the NBA, finishing second in the Eastern Conference despite star player Jayson Tatum missing most of the games.
Everyone in the league noticed that Boston didn’t miss a beat without Tatum, and the man responsible for shaping the roster, President of Basketball Operations Brad Stevens, was honored as the NBA Executive of the Year on Tuesday.
This marks the second time Stevens has claimed the award, with his previous win dating back to the 2023-24 season when the Celtics secured the NBA title.
Stevens has done an outstanding job as President of Basketball Operations since stepping down as Boston's head coach in 2021.
The Celtics wrap up the regular season with a strong record of 56-26 and currently lead the Philadelphia 76ers three games to one in the first round of the Eastern Conference playoffs.
Boston is the favorite to emerge from the East, and with the Detroit Pistons trailing three games to one against the Orlando Magic, the Celtics could secure home court advantage for the remainder of the Eastern Conference playoffs.
