Cleveland, which trailed by double digits in the first and second quarters, outscored Toronto 38-19 in the third on its way to a 114-102 win.

The Cleveland Cavaliers are moving on, and they're doing it in dramatic fashion. After falling behind by double digits in both the first and second quarters, the Cavs stormed back with a massive third-quarter surge—outscoring the Toronto Raptors 38-19—to secure a 114-102 victory in Game 7 of their Eastern Conference first-round series. It was a performance that had fans on the edge of their seats and proved once again why playoff basketball is the most thrilling game on the court.

Jarrett Allen was the engine of that comeback, scoring 14 of his playoff career-high-tying 22 points in the third quarter alone. He also dominated the glass with 19 rebounds, including five offensive boards in that pivotal period. Donovan Mitchell matched Allen with 22 points of his own, while James Harden chipped in 18 points and six rebounds. The Cavaliers' balanced attack was too much for Toronto to handle, especially after Cleveland built a 94-72 lead early in the fourth quarter.

For the Raptors, Scottie Barnes led the way with 24 points, nine rebounds, and six assists, but it wasn't enough to overcome the Cavs' relentless push. RJ Barrett struggled from the field, shooting 9-of-25 for 23 points, while Jamal Shead added 14 points and seven assists. Despite their efforts, Toronto couldn't keep pace with Cleveland's momentum shift.

This win extends an incredible trend for the Cavaliers: they are now 5-0 all-time at home in Game 7s and have beaten the Raptors all 11 times they've played in Cleveland during the playoffs. They've also won every postseason series against Toronto—a stat that speaks volumes about their dominance in these high-stakes matchups.

Evan Mobley set the tone early in the second half, scoring the first basket to give Cleveland its first lead at 51-49. That sparked a 20-2 run that carried over from the second quarter, with Mitchell's bucket at the 9:28 mark of the third making it 58-49. The Cavs closed the first half on an 11-2 run, tying the game at 49-all on a Jaylon Tyson 3-pointer. Shead and Barnes led all scorers at halftime with 14 points each, while Harden had 10 and Sam Merrill added eight off the bench.

The first half wasn't clean for Cleveland—they committed 13 turnovers, which Toronto turned into 14 points. But the Cavaliers cleaned things up in the second half, and that made all the difference. Now, they set their sights on the top-seeded Detroit Pistons, who advanced after a 116-94 Game 7 win over the Magic. The East semifinals begin Tuesday in Detroit, and if this series is anything like the first round, fans are in for a treat.
