Answering all of your questions in part two of this week’s mailbag!

It’s the time of year every Carolina Panthers fan looks forward to: off-season mailbag season. In part two of this week’s edition, we’re tackling your biggest questions about the roster, the quarterback situation, upcoming opponents, and what the future holds for this rising NFC South contender.

First up, Brazilian Panther asks for three teams that have made significant roster upgrades and will face Carolina this season. The Falcons and Saints are obvious picks—both earned strong draft grades, and divisional games are never easy. But don’t sleep on the Cleveland Browns. They made a concerted effort to bolster their offensive line, using a first-round pick on tackle Spencer Fano (a player many mocks had Carolina taking), and wide receiver KC Conception was one of my favorite prospects in the draft. And then there’s the Philadelphia Eagles. Despite swirling rumors around A.J. Brown, they turned a trade into a savvy move by drafting wide receiver Makai Lemon and tight end Eli Stowers, while also trading for receiver Dontayvion Wicks. Oh, and they added defensive end Jonathan Greenard to an already fearsome defensive line. The rich just keep getting richer.

Bolshy asks whether the Panthers can become a respectable franchise this year. After a playoff performance to kick off 2026, plus a highly regarded free agency and draft period, the media is finally catching on to what Dan Morgan and Brandt Tillis are building in Carolina. A lot of that success hinges on Bryce Young’s performance in his fourth season, but casual fans are starting to notice that this team isn’t a joke anymore.

GooseCreek wonders about assets the Panthers might use to acquire 2027 draft capital. We haven’t even hit preseason, and we’re already talking trades! But if there’s a candidate, it could be veteran tackle Taylor Moton. Depending on how the combination of Monroe Freeling, Rasheed Walker, and an earlier-than-expected return from Ikem Ekwonu shakes out, Carolina might have some flexibility to move him and stockpile picks for the future.

Stay tuned—we’ll keep answering your questions as the Panthers gear up for what could be a defining season.
