Alex Fitzpatrick is a PGA Tour winner and officially a member of the circuit. And now, he gets to play in the rest of the 2026 signature events, including this week's Cadillac Championship.
Fitzpatrick teamed with his brother Matt to win the Zurich Classic of New Orleans and that makes him exempt through 2028.
Alex Fitzpatrick is joined by Alex Smalley and Keith Mitchell as additions to the tee sheet for the 72-man field at Trump National Doral. The field list, originally released last Friday, was updated Sunday night. Mitchell is one of four sponsor exemptions this week, along with Joel Dahmen, Max Greyserman and Max Homa.
One other alteration: Michael Thorbjornsen slides from in to out, as he's now listed as the first alternate for the Blue Monster. Kristoffer Reitan is the second alternate and we may see more video of Brooks Koepka hanging out at the clubhouse, as he's currently the third alternate for the Cadillac.
Not playing this week: Rory McIlroy, Ludvig Aberg, Bob MacIntyre and Xander Schauffele.
