The Tampa Bay Buccaneers decided they would add some more picks on the second day of the 2026 NFL Draft. Right before they were set to be on the clock with the 77th overall pick in the third round, Tampa Bay traded back. The Bucs sent the 77th overall pick to the Green Bay Packers for picks 84 and 160.

NFL Media's Mike Garafolo was the first to report the trade.

The Bucs trade back seven spots to gain the 160th pick later on is a good move for a team looking to fill some much-needed depth needs. They are likely going to continue to target defense as the draft rolls on, but look for them to add some offensive pieces at either tight end or guard.

A sleeper spot to also be addressed is wide receiver. Yes, they are loaded at the position, but the team lost Mike Evans. More on day three of the draft, they can get depth to replace Sterling Shepard.
