Bruno Fernandes is proving once again why he's one of the most electrifying players in the Premier League. The Manchester United midfield maestro has added yet another prestigious accolade to his growing collection, this time being named the PFA Premier League Fans' Player of the Month for March—and he's showing no signs of letting up.

The Portugal international is enjoying a truly remarkable season, currently sitting on the cusp of Premier League history. With an impressive tally of eight goals and 19 assists, Fernandes is just two assists away from breaking the all-time single-season assist record of 20, a mark currently shared by two legends: Kevin De Bruyne and Thierry Henry. Fernandes has openly admitted that becoming the undisputed assist king would be an incredible honor, and given his current form, it's hard to bet against him.

March was a particularly standout month for the 31-year-old. United faced a tough run of fixtures against Crystal Palace, Newcastle United, Aston Villa, and Bournemouth, and Fernandes rose to the occasion each time. He scored from the penalty spot against both Crystal Palace and Bournemouth, while also delivering a sublime assist for Benjamin Sesko in the clash with the former. His set-piece deliveries were on point, providing two assists for Casemiro against Newcastle and Aston Villa, and he created a brilliant goal for Cunha to sink Unai Emery's men. It was a masterclass in creativity and composure.

United confirmed Fernandes's nomination for the PFA Fans' Player of the Month award, where he faced stiff competition from the likes of James Garner (Everton), Danny Welbeck (Brighton & Hove Albion), David Raya (Arsenal), Anthony Gordon (Newcastle), and Morgan Gibbs-White (Nottingham Forest). But on Friday, it was announced that Fernandes had successfully seen off the competition to emerge as the outright winner. "Your votes mean Bruno Fernandes has been crowned the PFA Fans' Player of the Month for March," the announcement read.

This award makes Fernandes the third United player to claim the honor this season, following in the footsteps of last summer's signings, Bryan Mbeumo and Benjamin Sesko. It's a testament to the impact he continues to have on the pitch week in and week out.

Fernandes and United will be back in action on Sunday when they host bitter rivals Liverpool at Old Trafford—a match that promises to be another opportunity for the midfielder to add to his already dazzling statistics. Whether you're a United fan or just a lover of the game, there's no denying that Bruno Fernandes is playing the best football of his career right now.
