One of Indiana's most electrifying wide receivers is ready to take the next big step in his football journey. Brownsburg's Branden Sharpe, a two-time 1,000-yard pass catcher and two-time Class 6A state champion, will announce his college commitment this Monday at 6 p.m. from his high school.

Sharpe, who has been a dominant force on the gridiron for the Bulldogs, trimmed his list of suitors to four top programs last month: Indiana, Vanderbilt, Cincinnati, and Purdue. He took official visits to all four schools, starting with the Hoosiers in late May, followed by the Commodores, Bearcats, and Boilermakers in June. Sharpe's impact on Brownsburg's back-to-back state titles cannot be overstated. For the season, he posted 59 receptions for 1,143 yards and 13 touchdowns, cementing his reputation as a big-play threat every time he steps on the field.

His sophomore campaign was equally impressive, with 66 catches for 1,665 yards and seven scores, showcasing his consistency and ability to produce at an elite level. Before narrowing his focus, Sharpe attracted offers from a wide range of programs, including Boston College, Houston, Iowa State, Maryland, Northwestern, South Florida, and Virginia Tech—a testament to his talent and potential at the next level.
