The Cleveland Browns have added the young quarterback to their roster, just as general manager Andrew Berry had stated they might do in the 2026 NFL Draft.
At the top of the sixth round and with the 182nd overall pick, the Browns have selected Arkansas quarterback Taylen Green. He now joins Shedeur Sanders, Deshaun Watson, and Dillon Gabriel in one of the more interesting quarterback rooms in the NFL.
Taylen Green threw for over 2,700 yards this past season, with 19 touchdown passes and 11 interceptions. He added another 777 yards rushing and eight touchdowns. Over his career at both Boise State and Arkansas, Green amassed nearly 10,000 yards passing, 59 touchdowns, 35 interceptions, 2,400 yards rushing, and 35 rushing touchdowns.

He ran a 4.37-second 430-yard dash, hit 43.5 inches in his vertical jump, and 11-feet-2 in his broad jump. Head coach Todd Monken has expressed his need for an athletic quarterback, and the Browns certainly checked that box with Green.
