The Cleveland Browns own the No. 6 and No. 24 overall picks in the first round of the 2026 NFL Draft. Thanks to trading down with the Jacksonville Jaguars last year with the Travis Hunter pick, they have an extra first-rounder this year.
A year later, the Browns are once again the subject of trade rumors leading up to the draft. Though with a weaker draft class, there's been plenty of reporting that teams aren't that interested in moving up.
However, according to ESPN's Dan Graziano, the Browns, which would love to move down the board, got some good news about possible interested teams in moving up the board for the No. 6 pick.
"It seems as if everyone knows the analytics-driven Browns would love to trade down from No. 6," Graziano writes. "Many people I've spoken with believe there will be teams interested in moving up to that spot to get ahead of the Commanders, who pick at No. 7 and are believed to have their eyes on Styles, Downs, Tate and Love."
This report from Graziano indicates that the Browns are clearly hoping to move down from the No. 6 pick in this year's draft. That's not a surprise at all.
But what is more fascinating about this report is that there are reportedly teams interested in jumping in front of the Washington Commanders, who pick right after the Browns.
There are four players that Graziano highlighted as players that teams might be trying to trade up for, three of which come from Ohio State.

On defense, Ohio State linebacker Sonny Styles and Ohio State safety Caleb Downs are the two players on defense that a team might try to jump the Commanders for.
On offense, Ohio State wide receiver Carnell Tate, a player the Browns might have interest in, is someone a team might try to trade up for. And if Notre Dame running back Jeremiyah Love falls to No. 6, the Browns might have teams come calling.
Despite teams not being very likely to trade up in the NFL Draft this year, there seems to be a chance that the Commanders' interests will open the door for a trade with the Browns for the sixth overall pick.
