Brentford boss Keith Andrews has shared a crucial injury update on four key players ahead of Saturday's Premier League showdown with West Ham United at the Gtech Community Stadium (3pm BST kick-off). The Bees are desperate to snap a winless streak that stretches back to late February, and the fitness news could be a game-changer.

Rico Henry (hamstring), Vitaly Janelt (metatarsal), Jordan Henderson (absent since the international break), and Josh Dasilva are all under the microscope. Dasilva made a long-awaited return to the matchday squad on Monday against Manchester United—his first appearance since January 2024. "Josh had to work really hard to get back to this point," Andrews said. "He wouldn't be on the bench if I didn't think he could make an impact."

The news gets brighter for midfield options Janelt and Henderson. "Vitaly and Jordan are pretty close," Andrews revealed. "We'll make a decision on that tomorrow, but they've made good progress." However, Henry remains a longer-term concern: "Rico is not as close," the head coach admitted.

Andrews emphasized caution with Dasilva's return, noting the club has been careful not to hype his recovery. "We haven't wanted to shout about the progress from the rooftops and add more pressure to his journey back, which has been very, very long," he explained. "We're very careful around how and when we train him. He's looking pretty free and has trained really well over the last few weeks."

On the flip side, the Bees will be without Fábio Carvalho and Antoni Milambo for the rest of the season due to ACL injuries—a significant blow to their attacking depth.

Brentford haven't tasted Premier League victory since a thrilling 4-3 win at Burnley in late February. Since then, they've drawn five straight before falling 2-1 to Manchester United on Monday. Andrews remains philosophical about the drought: "The big thing for me is if we're not creating chances or looking like scoring, that would be more worrying. There is comfort in the fact we are, but you obviously want to take that next step."

With West Ham visiting, this could be the perfect moment for Brentford to turn their fortunes around—and a few key returns might just give them the edge they need.
