The Atlanta Braves are growing their City connect merchandise offerings, taking steps to go beyond jerseys and into the world of shoes.

The Atlanta Braves are stepping up their style game, expanding their City Connect collection beyond jerseys and into the world of exclusive footwear. In a fresh collaboration with Nike, the team is set to drop limited edition Nike City Connect Air Max 1s—a sneaker that blends nostalgia with modern flair.

These kicks will debut exclusively at Truist Park on Monday, available first at the Braves Clubhouse Store before a wider rollout. Designed to complement the team’s 2026 City Connect uniforms unveiled in April, the Air Max 1s are more than just shoes—they’re a tribute to Braves history.

According to the team, the sneaker draws inspiration from the iconic powder blue look of the 1980s, an era that helped define the franchise’s national identity through the reach of TBS SuperStation. “The sneaker draws inspiration from the Braves’ iconic powder blue look of the 1980s—an era that helped define the franchise’s national identity through the reach of TBS SuperStation,” a team spokesperson said.

Every detail tells a story. The white base is paired with powder blue patent leather on the toe and heel, nodding to those classic ‘80s road uniforms that shaped a generation of fans. A blue velvet collar lining inside the shoe adds a touch of Atlanta’s unique style, while an updated “Atlanta” script with red piping across the heels blends vintage vibes with the team’s current colors.

SuperStation-era callouts are woven throughout: “ATL” block letters across the tongue echo the old SuperStation logo, and the italicized, 3D “Atlanta Braves” wordmark on the insole ties it all together. Whether you’re a die-hard collector or a casual fan, these kicks are a must-have for anyone looking to rep Braves pride from head to toe.
