Eli Junior Kroupi is setting the Premier League ablaze, but PSG will have its say. The French striker crossed the 10-goal mark with Bournemouth, which will listen to offers this summer if Paris puts up the financial package again.
Former FC Lorient gem Kroupi, 19, has taken flight at Bournemouth. To the point that his name is sometimes whispered as a potential inclusion in the France squad for the World Cup due to the confirmed withdrawal of Hugo Ekitike.
The road is still long, but it demonstrates just how much the darting forward is making an impression in the Premier League. Bought for €13 million in January 2025, he joined the Cherries six months later.
He has just crossed the 10-goal mark in the English league, which is far from insignificant. His sense of goal and positioning wreak havoc, especially since he also likes to create space for his teammates.
A profile that attracts PSG, always on the lookout for young players to develop, especially if they are French. And the good news came on Tuesday, with Bournemouth's willingness to sell the Lorient native this summer in the event of a good offer.
According to Football Insider, there is no doubt that the Premier League club will accept an offer of up to 60 million pounds, or nearly €70 million. Relations between PSG and the Cherries are good, as the two clubs did business on similar terms regarding the transfer of Illia Zabarnyi.
"At Bournemouth, they theoretically do not want to lose him. But if a big offer comes in, they will sit at the table, discuss and study it seriously," journalist Pete O'Rourke said.
Manchester United is, for the moment, the club most interested in Kroupi, but Paris is looking for a center forward, and the prospect of progressing under Luis Enrique's orders now makes many players salivate.
Especially since PSG is a candidate every year for the final victory in the Champions League, which is still far from being the case at MU. Liverpool and Arsenal have also made inquiries, but Paris clearly has a card to play for Kroupi, given Bournemouth's willingness to continue cashing in large sums for its best players.
