Get ready for an exciting showdown under the Friday night lights! The District 4 UPMC North-South All-Star Game is set to kick off on June 19 at 7 p.m. at Milton's Alumni Field, and this year's matchup features two standout leaders at the helm.

Leading the South squad is Mifflinburg's Cody Botts, a rising star in the coaching ranks. Botts' journey began in 2020 as an assistant offensive line coach at Lewisburg, followed by a stint at Susquehanna University coaching offensive line and tight ends. He returned to his alma mater in 2022, where he served as offensive line coach and run game coordinator before taking over as head coach in 2024. In just two seasons, Botts has compiled an impressive 14-10 record, including a standout 10-3 season in 2025 that culminated in a District 4 Class 3A championship. He'll be joined on the South coaching staff by Mifflinburg's Anthony Threet, Seth Hicks, Jeff Wagner, and Tom Parfitt, as well as Milton's Jake Barrett and Isaiah Hicks.

On the North side, Hughesville's Howard Rainey brings decades of experience to the field. A long-time assistant coach dating back to 1991 at Jersey Shore, Rainey took over as head coach at Hughesville in 2021 and has been a steady force for the program ever since. His leadership will be key as the North team looks to claim victory.

Beyond the game itself, halftime will feature a special ceremony as the Coaches Association enshrines its Hall of Fame Class of 2026, honoring the legacy of those who have shaped District 4 football. Tickets are just $10 at the gate, so mark your calendars for a night of top-tier talent, community pride, and gridiron action you won't want to miss!
