After beating the Philadelphia 76ers 128-96 in Game 4 of their 2026 NBA Eastern Conference Playoffs first round series, the Boston Celtics will make the trip back to the state of Massachusetts to take on the Sixers in their home arena of TD Garden. There, the Celtics will be looking to potentially close out the series and advance to the Eastern Conference semifinals vs, whichever team emerges from the New York Knicks - Atlanta Hawks first round East series.

Philadelphia will of course be fighting for their postseason lives, but it is unclear as to whether they will be able to put together an effective counter on the road as they also try to reintegrate a key member of their frontcourt. We expect a Boston win, but never underestimate the impact of postseason desperation.

The Celtics came into this series with the No. 2 seed, and the Sixers the No. 7 after winning the right to face Boston in the 2026 East play-in tournament.

The series is currently at 3-1 heading into Game 5 of the series in favor of the Celtics.
