Vladimir Guerrero Jr. doubled home the go-ahead run in the 10th inning as the Toronto Blue Jays beat Milwaukee 9-7 on Tuesday night and handed the Brewers their sixth consecutive loss. Milwaukee's skid is its longest since June 2023, when the Brewers also dropped six straight. The Brewers allowed seven runs over the last three innings to squander a 4-2 advantage.

In a wild extra-inning affair, Vladimir Guerrero Jr. delivered the clutch hit to break the Brewers' hearts. His one-out double off the left-field wall in the 10th inning drove in the automatic runner, propelling the Toronto Blue Jays to a dramatic 9-7 victory and handing the Milwaukee Brewers their sixth consecutive loss.

This skid matches Milwaukee's longest since June 2023, a troubling trend fueled by a late-game collapse. The Brewers squandered a 4-2 lead by allowing a staggering seven runs over the final three innings, with both teams' bullpens trading blows in a chaotic ninth.

The Blue Jays first stormed ahead with a three-run top of the ninth, only to see Milwaukee answer right back with two runs of their own in the bottom half, capped by a game-tying RBI double from Brandon Lockridge to force extras.

But in the 10th, Guerrero Jr., a perennial MVP candidate, came through. After his go-ahead double, Myles Straw provided crucial insurance with a two-run double to make it 9-6. The Brewers threatened in their final at-bat, bringing the tying run to the plate, but Louis Varland sealed the win for Toronto by striking out Gary Sánchez.

The game featured plenty of power, with Jake Bauers crushing a three-run homer and Gary Sánchez adding a solo shot for Milwaukee. For the Jays, Andrés Giménez and Daulton Varsho also left the yard in a back-and-forth contest that ultimately slipped away from the reeling Brewers.
