Bills 2026 schedule release: Time, date, how to watch

The Buffalo Bills will learn their entire 2026 regular-season schedule Thursday night.

Mark your calendars, Bills Mafia—the NFL schedule release is almost here, and it's shaping up to be a historic night for Buffalo. The entire 2026 regular-season slate will be unveiled Thursday, May 14, from 8-10 p.m. ET, and you won't want to miss a single matchup.

While the full 17-game schedule remains a mystery, one date is already locked in: the Bills will christen their brand-new Highmark Stadium in Week 2 with a Thursday Night Football showdown against the Detroit Lions on September 17. It's the first regular-season game at the state-of-the-art venue, and the energy in Orchard Park will be electric.

Here's how to catch all the action: Tune into NFL Network or ESPN2 for the two-hour schedule release show, or stream it live on NFL+ and the ESPN App. The league will reveal all 272 regular-season games, giving fans a first look at every prime-time matchup, rivalry clash, and must-see showdown.

For Buffalo, the road ahead is already taking shape. The Bills won't play an international game in 2026, keeping all their home games at the new Highmark. They'll host eight regular-season games (plus possibly two preseason games, depending on stadium readiness) and hit the road for nine regular-season away games and one preseason contest.

How are the opponents determined? Since the Bills finished second in the AFC East last season, they'll face every second-place team from the AFC, plus an additional second-place squad from the NFC. The full slate also includes matchups against the entire AFC West and NFC North—a challenging but exciting lineup.

Once the schedule drops, tickets will be available immediately through Ticketmaster, SeatGeek, and Sports Illustrated Tickets. Head to the Bills' official website or their Ticketmaster page to secure your seats for what promises to be a memorable season.

Before the games begin, the Bills will hit the practice field for OTAs starting May 18-19, with additional sessions on May 21, May 26-28, and June 1-4. Mandatory veteran minicamp follows from June 9-11. Get ready, Buffalo—the countdown to kickoff is officially on.
