The NFL draft is in the books, and now it is time for analysts across the media spectrum to weigh in on what transpired over the days in Pittsburgh.

By all accounts, the Tennessee Titans got better after adding eight players in this draft class, although the amount of improvement and the inevitable way-too-early grades attached to the class vary widely across different media outlets.

The latest to share his opinion is Jordan Dajani of CBS Sports, who picked the best, worst, and surprise pick by the Titans.

The wait for Singleton may have gone longer than anticipated, but he is a bigger back to offset the Titans' current room. (Josh Edwards)

There was no doubt that Singleton was one of the better selections for the Titans, and much like fellow Penn State alum Kevin Winston Jr. in 2025, he would have likely heard his name called earlier if he were healthy.

Carmona has played multiple positions in his collegiate career, so there is some versatility. (Josh Edwards)

It is debatable whether Carmona is the worst pick. Yes, most pre-draft publications ranked him below his draft spot, but his experience, versatility, and demeanor, coupled with the Titans’ needs, make him an interesting selection. Once you factor in offensive line coach Carmen Bricillo and his success with low-pedigree linemen, the pick of Carmona does make sense.

Kanak has played both sides of the ball in his collegiate career. He's an athlete who will be used as a tight end.(Josh Edwards)

Kanak was a bit of a surprise and an interesting pick, who screams special-teams standout with positional upside. Tennessee could have looked to add to its secondary with this selection, with some intriguing defensive back depth available, but it went a different direction.
