Trinity Rodman is a soccer superstar in the United States. Whether playing for her country's national team or the Washington Spirit, she is one of the best players in the sport that continues to grow in popularity.

Rodman was named the fifth-best footballer in the world in late 2024 by "The Guardian." In January of this year, Rodman signed a contract that will keep her with the Washington Spirit through the 2028 season. The three-year deal is worth more than $2 million annually, making it the richest contract in league history.

"I've always had a vision of kind of an idea of what I want my legacy to be and continue to be," she said at the ceremonial contract signing. "For me, we're doing that, with help obviously, and I'm so grateful for that. But yeah, I think this is just opening up opportunities for American girls with dreams, and I'm one and was one of them, and so I'm very grateful about that. And it's perfect timing with the World Cup happening in the U.S., too."
