The Bemidji State Beavers wrapped up their outdoor track and field season with a strong showing at the NSIC Outdoor Championships in Duluth, finishing 12th overall on Saturday. Despite the team placing in the middle of the pack, several athletes delivered standout performances that capped off their seasons on a high note.

Five Beavers cracked the top 10 in their respective events, showcasing the team's depth across both track and field disciplines. On the track, Sophie Rylance blazed to a fifth-place finish in the 800-meter race, crossing the line in 2:15.90. Meanwhile, Maggie McCarthy turned heads in the 3000-meter steeplechase, setting a new personal best with a time of 11:11.30—a testament to her hard work and endurance throughout the season.

In the field events, the Beavers' throwers made their presence felt. Zayda Priebe launched the discus 42.64 meters to secure fifth place, while teammate Allison LaVine followed closely behind in eighth with a throw of 41.41 meters. The javelin saw Trista Bilden take sixth place with a 36.87-meter toss, adding another top finish to the team's tally.
