The Chicago Bears will be bringing in a face and name familiar to starting quarterback Caleb Williams, signing undrafted free agent quarterback Miller Moss out of Louisville.

Moss was Williams' teammate and successor at USC after the latter became the No. 1 overall pick and franchise quarterback in Chicago. Moss only played one season for the Trojans after Williams' departed, throwing for 2,555 yards, with 18 touchdowns and nine interceptions in nine games. But he was ultimately benched and replaced by Jordan Maiava after having a three-interception game against Washington.

Following his benching, Moss transferred to Louisville, where he played in 12 games for the Cardinals, having them crack the rankings in Weeks 8-10, throwing for 2,679 yards and 16 touchdowns with seven interceptions. Closing out his collegiate career, Moss won the MVP award in the Boca Raton Bowl as Louisville defeated Toledo back in December.

It'll be a fun reunion for the two former USC Trojan quarterbacks, and interesting to see how Williams can take Moss under his wing as he prepares for life in the NFL with the Bears and competes for a spot on the practice squad.
