The final stretch of the 2025/26 La Liga season is heating up for FC Barcelona, and there's some exciting news coming out of the training ground. With just two matches left on the calendar, Hansi Flick's squad is laser-focused on ending the campaign on a high note, aiming to secure back-to-back victories and finish with an impressive 97 points. While the dream of hitting the century mark slipped away after the tough loss to Alaves, the Blaugrana are determined to close out strong.

After giving the team a well-deserved rest day on Thursday, Flick called everyone back to work on Friday morning at the Ciutat Esportiva. The energy was palpable as they gear up for Sunday night's home clash against Real Betis at the Spotify Camp Nou—the last home game of the season. But the big news coming out of the session is the return of a promising young starlet.

According to SPORT, left-back Jofre Torrents has been called up to train with the first team after recovering from an ankle injury that sidelined him since late February. The 19-year-old La Masia graduate is no stranger to the senior squad—he made his official debut on the opening day of the season, coming off the bench against RCD Mallorca. He went on to make three more appearances under Flick before returning to the Barça Atletic setup, where he logged 15 games, scoring once and providing an assist before the injury struck.

Now fully healed, Torrents is back in the mix, and there's a real chance he could see minutes on the pitch in the final two matches. It's a testament to Barcelona's commitment to nurturing homegrown talent, especially with the title celebrations still fresh and the atmosphere in the camp relaxed. Flick has been giving plenty of academy players opportunities in training, and Torrents' return adds depth and youthful energy to the squad.

Joining him in Friday's session were fellow reserve team players Diego Kochen, Eder Aller, Tommy Marques, Alvaro Cortes, and Xavi Espart. It's a glimpse into the future of the club, and for fans, it's a thrilling sign of what's to come. Whether any of them will step onto the pitch against Betis remains to be seen, but one thing's for sure—Barcelona's pipeline of talent is alive and well.
