FC Barcelona are putting the finishing touches on their preparations for Sunday's crucial La Liga clash against Real Betis at the Camp Nou—their final home game of the season. After a disappointing defeat to Alaves last time out, the Catalans are desperate to bounce back and give their loyal supporters a victory to cheer about.

However, the build-up has been clouded by uncertainty, as key players Frenkie de Jong and Marcus Rashford were notably absent from Saturday's training session. According to SPORT, the reasons behind their no-shows remain unclear, leaving fans and pundits speculating ahead of the match.

De Jong was already omitted from the squad against Alaves, though he had returned to training on Friday. Rashford, on the other hand, participated fully in Friday's session, with the club yet to issue any statement regarding a potential injury. Head coach Hansi Flick is expected to address the media shortly and is likely to shed light on the situation—particularly concerning De Jong, as Barcelona maintain there is no physical issue with the Dutch midfielder.

On a more positive note, Fermin Lopez and Raphinha—both absent from the Alaves match—trained normally and are expected to feature prominently against Real Betis. Their return could provide a much-needed spark for a Barcelona side looking to finish the home campaign on a high note.

In other team news, several Barça Atletic players joined the senior squad for training, with Jofre Torrents once again impressing after his participation on Friday. The young full-back was joined by Diego Kochen, Eder Aller, Tommy Marques, Alvaro Cortes, and Xavi Espart as the club continues to integrate academy talent during the final stretch of the season. As always, the next generation is ready to step up when called upon.
