Enter Victor Osimhen. According to recent reports, the 27-year-old Nigerian striker is "highly appreciated" within Barcelona's ranks—and it's easy to see why. Currently plying his trade for Galatasaray, Osimhen is enjoying another prolific campaign, having racked up an impressive 22 goals and eight assists in just 33 appearances this season. Seven of those strikes have come in the UEFA Champions League, underlining his ability to perform on the biggest stage.

At 27, Osimhen is entering the prime years of his career. His consistent goal-scoring record across top European leagues makes him an attractive proposition for any elite club. However, there's a catch: his contract with Galatasaray runs until 2029, meaning any potential deal would come with a hefty price tag.

For now, though, Barcelona appear to have shifted their focus elsewhere. The club's sporting director, Deco, has identified Chelsea's Joao Pedro as their number one summer target. The 24-year-old Brazilian forward is seen as the ideal fit for Barcelona's long-term project. Pedro has been in fine form for the Blues, notching 20 goals and nine assists this season. But securing his signature won't come cheap either—reports suggest a fee of around €100 million, including bonuses, would be required to bring him to Catalonia.

With the summer window approaching, Barcelona's forward line remains a key area of focus. Whether they land Osimhen, Pedro, or another target entirely, one thing is clear: the club is determined to add firepower to their attack.
