While the season's final chapter is still being written, with Roma chasing a coveted Champions League spot, the gears of the summer transfer window are already beginning to turn. The club faces a significant financial deadline, needing to comply with Financial Fair Play regulations by the end of June, which could necessitate a major sale.

This financial puzzle extends to players currently out on loan, including promising young midfielder Tommaso Baldanzi. The 21-year-old Italian joined Genoa in January on a loan deal that includes a €10 million option to buy, and it appears both parties are keen on making the move permanent.

According to reports from transfer expert Matteo Moretto, Genoa is eager to retain Baldanzi's services for the upcoming campaign. Crucially, this sentiment is shared by the player himself, who is reportedly settled and happy at the club known as the "Grifone."

Since arriving in Liguria and playing under Daniele De Rossi, Baldanzi has made six appearances, contributing one assist as he continues his development. The coming weeks will be key as Roma and Genoa work to finalize an agreement that satisfies all parties involved.
