The Wisconsin Badgers women's basketball program just made a statement in the transfer portal, securing a major talent to bolster their roster for the coming season.

While the men's team evaluates its options, the women's squad has landed a huge commitment in former five-star recruit and McDonald's All-American guard Addie Deal from Iowa.

Deal, who entered the portal after her freshman year, brings a prestigious pedigree to Madison. She was the No. 9 overall recruit in the 2025 class and is now the first McDonald's All-American to ever join the Badgers program.
