Ava Ratliff's three-run home run in the 7th inning lifts Auburn to its second-straight upset win in the SEC Tournament on Wednesday.

Auburn softball is living the fairy tale, and they're not ready for the clock to strike midnight just yet. The Tigers pulled off another stunning upset in the SEC Tournament on Wednesday, keeping their Cinderella run alive in dramatic fashion.

With the score knotted at 8-8 and two outs in the top of the seventh inning, Ava Ratliff stepped to the plate and delivered the moment every player dreams of. After an epic nine-pitch battle against Texas A&M's Kate Munnerlyn, Ratliff crushed the final offering over the center field wall for a three-run home run. The blast gave the No. 14-seeded Tigers an 11-8 lead, and they held on through a tense bottom of the seventh to secure the victory over the No. 6 Aggies at John Cropp Stadium in Lexington, Kentucky.

The game was an offensive showcase from the start. Auburn jumped out to a commanding 7-3 lead by the fourth inning, and AnnaLee Adams added a solo home run in the fifth to extend the advantage. But Texas A&M roared back, scoring five unanswered runs to tie the game at 8-8 heading into the seventh. All the momentum seemed to be on the Aggies' side until Ratliff's heroics turned the tide with two outs and the Tigers' backs against the wall.

Auburn's power display was nothing short of impressive, as five different players went deep. McKaela Walker, AnnaLea Adams, Ma'Nia Womack, Haven Roebuck, and Ratliff all contributed home runs, while Ratliff led the team with two hits in the 10-hit attack.

In the circle, Charley Butler earned her second straight win in relief, allowing three runs on five hits after taking over for starter Ella Harrison. Harrison re-entered late to secure the save, finishing with five runs allowed (just one earned) on five hits, six strikeouts, and three walks.

The Tigers' hot streak shows no signs of cooling off. Next up is a quarterfinal showdown with No. 3 seed Florida on Thursday at 10 a.m. CT. If Auburn keeps swinging like this, anything is possible.
