Auburn University is embarking on a new chapter for its gymnastics program. The school announced Monday that head coach Jeff Graba will depart after 16 seasons, with both parties characterizing the move as a mutual decision.

Graba's tenure, which began in 2010, was marked by consistent competitiveness. He guided the Tigers to 13 NCAA Regional appearances, captured a regional championship, and led the program to a coveted Final Four berth. His legacy includes developing elite individual talent, most notably coaching Olympic gold medalist Suni Lee and Derrian Gobourne to NCAA individual titles, while also fostering SEC champions in Lee and Cassie Stevens.

In a statement, Graba expressed gratitude for his long tenure, highlighting the opportunity to coach at a high level and build a life in the Auburn community. "Being at the helm of this program has been an honor," Graba said, noting his pride in helping athletes achieve goals ranging from conference titles to the Olympic podium.

Athletic Director John Cohen acknowledged Graba's impact, stating, "Jeff oversaw a period of significant growth in all areas of the gymnastics program while developing outstanding Auburn women." The university has now initiated a national search for its next head coach, a critical hire for a program accustomed to postseason success and star power.
