The promising 6-foot-4 guard took to social media to confirm he’ll be back in an Auburn uniform, providing a key piece for Coach Steven Pearl’s developing roster.

Walker saw action in 13 games during his debut campaign, averaging 2.5 points in just five minutes per game while shooting an efficient 57% from the field. His potential flashed brightly in a November matchup against Jackson State, where he exploded for 15 points on a perfect 5-for-5 shooting in only seven minutes of play.

His decision to return is a significant boost for the Tigers, especially as other freshmen have entered the transfer portal. Walker will join fellow guard Kevin Overton in coming back for the 2026-27 season, giving Coach Pearl a core of experienced young talent to build around in his second year at the helm.
