Auburn baseball's Ethin Bingaman was named SEC Co-Freshman of the Week on Monday, Apr. 27, by the league offices.

Now, his second of the year, Bingaman collects another freshman of the week from the SEC. The freshman first gained the honor back on Feb. 23 for the Tigers.

Bingaman had quite the week at the plate last week for Auburn. He recorded three home runs in the third game against Oklahoma on Sunday, Apr. 26. That set a program record for home runs from a freshman in a game and was the fifth time in an SEC game for Auburn.

He went 2-for 3 in game two against Oklahoma and 2-for-4 with a two-run home run in the midweek against Samford. Bingaman leads the Tigers with 21 RBI in conference play. Auburn now prepares to hit the road to take on Texas A&M in an SEC road series starting on Friday, May 1.
