Aston Martin F1 has just dropped some exciting news about their partnership with Honda, revealing major progress on the engine front after the Miami Grand Prix. This marks the first race where both drivers, Fernando Alonso and Lance Stroll, successfully finished—a significant milestone for the team.

The Silverstone-based squad had been struggling with vibration issues in the AMR26's power unit, which made the car tough to handle and even left drivers with numb fingers after long stints. But after the Japanese Grand Prix, Honda's engineers got to work during the extended break caused by the cancellation of the Bahrain and Saudi Arabian races.

The results were clear in Miami: both cars crossed the finish line in the sprint and the main event. Alonso secured 15th place, while Stroll took 17th. More importantly, Alonso confirmed after qualifying that the reliability concerns had vanished. "The vibrations are much better than before," he said. "That's the main positive of this weekend. We can tick that box—the car behaves normally now. No issues for the race."

Aston Martin's chief trackside officer, Mike Krack, shared his satisfaction with the progress, noting that Honda is eager to keep pushing. "We're happy with it, and our partner wants to do more," he said. Honda Racing Corporation's Shintaro Orihara confirmed the countermeasures worked well and hinted at even more improvements ahead. For F1 fans, this breakthrough could be a game-changer as Aston Martin and Honda continue to fine-tune their partnership. Stay tuned for what's next on the track!
