This year's tournament marked a significant milestone as the first edition held in China, pitting Premier League academy sides against top-tier Chinese youth teams. Arsenal, alongside fellow English clubs Aston Villa and Wolves, faced off against four Chinese academy teams and a Hong Kong U16 Elite Selection side in a true test of emerging talent.
