Martin Odegaard says he has not heard anything about the possibility of him leaving Arsenal this summer.
The Arsenal skipper has endured a frustrating season with injury but has returned to the team of late and is set to play a part again when the Gunners face Atletico Madrid in the first leg of their Champions League semi-final on Wednesday.
Asked if he could shed some light on the rumours of him leaving, Odegaard said: “I don’t know where that’s coming from.
“My mindset is just about doing what I can every single day to do something special.
“There’s always going to be talk and people speculating and I guess that’s normal in football but it’s not something I know anything about.”

With his focus firmly on the present, Odegaard is targeting winning the double of the Premier League and Champions League with the club he joined back in 2021.
The Norway international also says the squad are not engaging with the outside noise and pressure as the season approaches its end.
“I mean, it’s always going to be there until we win it,” he said.
“That’s something we have to live with and as I said before, we have to take all those experiences and the lessons and use it in a good way.
“I think that’s part of football and part of the journey and we have to live in the moment.
“At the moment we’re doing really well and we’re in an amazing position in the league and in the Champions League and that’s what we have to focus on. Just look at every single day, every single game, how we can be at our best and then we’ll see what happens.
