Arsenal delivered a statement performance at the Emirates, cruising to a 3-0 victory over Fulham and opening up a six-point lead over Manchester City at the top of the Premier League table.

The Gunners came flying out of the blocks, and it didn't take long for the fans to have something to cheer about. Bukayo Saka was the architect, weaving past Raúl Jiménez on the right flank with a dazzling display of footwork before whipping a low cross into the six-yard box. There, Viktor Gyökeres was waiting to tap home into an empty net—a dream start for the hosts.

Arsenal didn't let up. Midway through the first half, they came agonizingly close to doubling their lead. Gabriel Magalhães and Fulham goalkeeper Bernd Leno contested a cross into the box, and the ball fell kindly to Gyökeres. His shot was well saved by Leno, and Saka's follow-up effort whistled just wide. Moments later, Riccardo Calafiori thought he had headed in a second from a Leandro Trossard cross, but the Italian was flagged offside, and the goal was correctly ruled out after a quick VAR check.

But the second goal was only delayed, not denied. Just before the 40-minute mark, the same deadly combination struck again. Gyökeres did brilliantly to latch onto a ball over the top, held off his marker, and laid it off to Saka. The England international made no mistake, slotting home at Leno's near post to double Arsenal's advantage.

If Fulham thought they could regroup at halftime, they were mistaken. Seconds before the break, Arsenal struck a third. After nearly being caught out at the back, the Gunners sliced through the Fulham press with precision. Trossard carried the ball forward and picked out Gyökeres, who rose to head home his second of the match—and his 21st goal of the season. The Emirates erupted as the Swedish marksman celebrated with the home crowd.

With this comprehensive win, Arsenal have sent a clear message to the rest of the league: they are in this title race to stay.
