Mark your calendars, Mountaineer fans! The legendary WVU Coaches Caravan, the longest-running fundraising tour for West Virginia University athletics, is hitting the road again this spring. This storied event is a can't-miss opportunity to connect with the heart of WVU sports.
The caravan kicks off on May 4th, with a key stop scheduled for The Resort at Glade Springs on Wednesday, May 6th. This marks an impressive 54th visit to Southern West Virginia, a tradition dating back to 1970. Doors open at 5 p.m., with the main event starting at 6 p.m., offering fans a perfect mid-week dose of Mountaineer spirit.
Get ready to hear directly from the leaders shaping WVU's future. Confirmed attendees include head football coach Rich Rodriguez, head men’s basketball coach Ross Hodge, head women’s basketball coach Mark Kellogg, and Director of Athletics Wren Baker. Coaches from Olympic sports are also expected, pending their schedules.
The voice of the Mountaineers, Tony Caridi, will return as emcee, fresh off receiving the prestigious Morehouse Award. The event will also feature a special presentation of the Mountaineer Spirit Award by Reese Allen, the incoming 71st Mountaineer Mascot.
Come early for a classic tailgate atmosphere outside the tent, complete with hamburgers and hot dogs. Individual tickets are $50, with tables for ten available at $750. Secure your spot for an evening of insider access, community, and celebration of all things WVU athletics.
