Manchester United's loan army was in full force on Wednesday evening, with three players taking to the pitch for their temporary clubs. Here's how they fared.

Andre Onana was the standout performer, guiding Trabzonspor to the Turkish Cup final with a hard-fought 2-1 victory over Gençlerbirliği S.K. Despite an injury scare in his previous outing, the Cameroonian goalkeeper showed his resilience by starting the crucial match. He made two saves on the night, including a vital stop down to his right that prevented the home side from doubling their lead early on. While he couldn't do much about Erk Arda Aslan's curling strike from range—a goal that would have tested any keeper—Onana was otherwise flawless. He completed 100% of his passes, carried the ball forward six times, and made three recoveries, proving his composure under pressure. For a player on loan from Manchester United, this performance is a reminder of the quality he brings between the sticks.

Marcus Rashford, on loan at Barcelona, had a quieter evening. Playing 90 minutes in a heavily rotated side, Barcelona fell 0-1 to Deportivo Alaves. The English winger completed 86% of his passes but struggled to make an impact in attack, failing to connect on any of his four cross attempts. He did manage three shots on goal, one of which was blocked by the home defense, and completed three dribbles. Defensively, Rashford was more active, winning six duels and making a clearance. While not his most dazzling display, it shows he's willing to contribute at both ends of the pitch.

Over in the Women's Super League, Manchester United veteran Lucy Blundell played 90 minutes for Arsenal Women in a 1-0 victory over Everton. Starting at right-back, she made one tackle and three clearances, winning two duels overall. With 79% pass completion, Blundell was tidy in possession but struggled to create chances, failing to complete any crosses or key passes. She did have a shot on goal, though it didn't trouble the Everton keeper. It was a solid, if unspectacular, outing from the experienced defender.

For Manchester United fans, these loan performances offer a glimpse into the development of their players away from Old Trafford. Onana's heroics in Turkey, in particular, are a positive sign as he continues to gain valuable game time.
