Six Colorado Buffaloes signed post-draft contracts with NFL teams almost immediately following the conclusion of the 2026 NFL Draft.
Two more Buffs signed rookie minicamp invites on Sunday, including edge rusher Keaten Wade and defensive tackle Amari McNeill, who received two invites to the rookie minicamp. McNeill will be joining both the Carolina Panthers and the Kansas City Chiefs' rookie minicamps.
McNeill played three seasons with the Colorado Buffaloes, appearing in 32 games and starting 12. He recorded 77 total tackles, 15 tackles for loss, seven sacks, six quarterback hurries, three forced fumbles, one pass breakup and a blocked kick. He was a consistent presence along the CU defensive line, wreaking havoc on opponents' rushing attacks.

McNeill joins quarterback Kaidon Salter and Wade as the three Buffs to join NFL teams as rookie minicamp invitees.
As a team, Colorado did not have any players selected in the seven-round NFL draft, but the program's success with undrafted free agents should be noted. In the last 11 seasons, CU has had at least one undrafted free agent make a final 53-man roster.
