The Premier League season is heating up, and so is your Fantasy Premier League squad. Gameweek 37 is almost here, bringing a packed schedule of high-stakes action and crucial injury updates. Whether you're tinkering with your starting XI or hunting for that differential pick, we've got all the team news and key stats you need—right here.
The action kicks off Friday night (20:00 BST) as Aston Villa host Liverpool at Villa Park. For Villa, midfielders Amadou Onana and Boubacar Kamara remain sidelined, while goalkeeper Alisson is back in training and will be assessed. Liverpool's Mo Salah is expected to feature for only a few minutes as he returns from injury, and Florian Wirtz is a doubt due to a stomach infection. Loanee Harvey Elliott is unavailable to face his parent club.
On the injury front, Villa are without Alysson, Kamara, and Onana, while Liverpool miss Bradley, Ekitike, Endo, and Leoni. But don't count Villa out—Ollie Watkins (£8.7m) has been in blistering form. Over the last six Gameweeks, only one forward has scored more goals than his four. Teammate John McGinn (£5.3m) also impressed in Gameweek 36, recording four shots and a match-high four chances created against Burnley, including a corner assist.
For Liverpool, Dominik Szoboszlai (£7.0m) has been a creative machine. His 68 chances created this season is second only to Bruno Fernandes (£10.4m), and the Hungarian has produced three attacking returns and 21 points in his last four appearances.
Over at Manchester United, head coach Michael Carrick will provide a squad update later on Friday. Casemiro missed last Sunday's 0-0 draw at Sunderland and remains a doubt. The Red Devils' captain Bruno Fernandes has been on fire, notching nine FPL assists in as many Gameweeks—taking his season total to 21. That's just four off Luis Suarez's all-time FPL record. Meanwhile, Casemiro (£5.9m) has been a surprise asset at home, scoring three goals, earning four defensive contribution points, and collecting five bonus points in his last four matches at Old Trafford, racking up 31 points.
Nottingham Forest captain Morgan Gibbs-White has returned to training, wearing a mask to protect a facial injury. However, Murillo and Ola Aina remain sidelined, and head coach Vítor Pereira says no risks will be taken with Dan Ndoye and Ibrahim Sangare as they build fitness. Forest's Elliot Anderson (£5.6m) netted his seventh goal of the season in Gameweek 36, continuing his impressive run. The full injury list: Man Utd are without De Ligt, while Forest miss Aina, Boly, Murillo, Hudson-Odoi, Savona, and Victor. Doubts include Casemiro, Sesko, and Ugarte for United, and Gibbs-White, Sangare, and Ndoye for Forest.
