The future of Texas high school soccer is on full display! The coaches of District 23-5A have officially announced their 2026 All-District teams and superlative awards, highlighting the standout talent across the league. These selections celebrate the dedication and skill of the athletes who dominated the pitch this season.
Leading the defensive honors, the title of Defensive MVP was shared by two formidable talents: Zahria Fuller of Hendrickson and Emie Benson of Georgetown. Their commanding presence in the backline set the standard for excellence throughout the district.
The All-District First Team rosters are packed with players who delivered clutch performances week in and week out. Hendrickson's selections include Ava Back, Kenna McKinley, Araceli Patterson, Isabel Callejas, and Ayslee Barreto. Georgetown is represented by Audrey Johnson, Libby Benson, Abigail Vidrine, and Elizabeth Prisco.
Weiss High School showcased remarkable depth, placing Aubrey Walker, Claire Loerwald, Karizma Reyes, Quinn Cardwell, Liliana Perez Ramos, and Beth Mueller on the First Team. East View's honorees are Julianna Garcia, Isabella Johnson, Kalynn Coburn, and Haylee Coffmann-Romick, while Pflugerville's Hannah Peters, Khloe Ioannou, Malia Miiranda, and Kylie Vasuez earned their spots through consistent play.
The Second Team selections further underscore the district's competitive depth. Weiss placed Alyssa Kasanezky, Aishwarya Schmalz, and Vanessa Roa. East View's Amaris Agrait, Madison Brown, and Sarah Reyes were recognized, alongside Pflugerville's Dalal Alayyan, San Juanita Caudillo, and Mia Tejeda.
Rounding out the honors, Connally's Dannai Aguilar, Alison Villanueva, and Allison Perez earned Second Team nods, as did Elgin's Camila Perez, Lucero Almanza, and Jennavie Giron. Congratulations to all these incredible athletes on a season of hard work and outstanding achievement!
