DePaul transfer Alayna West has reportedly committed to Alabama, per On3's Talia Goodman.
West was a solid contributor throughout her freshman campaign with the Blue Demons. The talented guard averaged 7.1 points, 3.9 rebounds and 2.3 assists last season, as West could potentially emerge with a key role on the offensive end of the floor for the Tide next year.
West flashed her potential on numerous occasions at DePaul while playing 20 minutes per game. West is an excellent rebounder considering her size as well, as the 5-foot-10 guard will look to make her presence known on the glass throughout her sophomore campaign.
Alabama has officially landed yet another guard from the transfer portal following the departure of numerous key playmakers, as West will look to make an impact during her first season at Alabama next year.
