The Niceville Eagles have their new leader on the gridiron. Just days before spring practices begin, longtime assistant coach Adron Robinson has been promoted to head football coach, bringing stability and a familiar face to a proud Florida program.

Robinson, who also serves as the head coach of the school's girls flag football team, steps into the top role following the departure of Robert Morgan in late March. Morgan arrived at Niceville with an impressive resume from Georgia, boasting over 200 wins and three state championships, continuing the program's tradition of hiring proven winners.

This marks the second consecutive offseason Niceville has navigated a coaching change, having moved quickly last year to replace the highly successful Grant Thompson. The Eagles' program is no stranger to high expectations, and Robinson will be tasked with building on a foundation that produced a 6-5 record last season.

The new coach inherits a roster with promising young talent, including 2027 three-star linebacker Noah Renes and 2029 standout running back Jakobe Gilyard. For a program consistently ranked among Florida's best, developing this next wave of Eagles will be crucial as they aim to climb back into state championship contention.
