Five-star tight end prospect Jaxon Dollar will announce his commitment on April 30 at 5:30 p.m. ET, per Rivals. Dollar is a talented tight end with elite athleticism, as the top recruit is closing in on a decision.
Dollar’s top three programs include the Georgia Bulldogs, Miami Hurricanes and Notre Dame Fighting Irish. At 6-foot-5, 222 pounds, Dollar has excellent speed considering his size. Dollar flashed his potential on numerous occasions at East Lincoln High School in North Carolina last season, as the elite recruit could play right away in 2027 regardless where he lands.
Dollar is ranked as the No. 2 tight end and the No. 33 player from the class of 2027, per the 247Sports Composit rankings. He is listed as the No. 2 player out of North Carolina. Dollar would be a huge addition to Georgia’s already impressive 2027 recruiting class. On3 predicts Dollar to commit to Georgia over Notre Dame and Miami, but we'll find out soon enough when the tight end makes an official announcement.
Georgia has targeted some of the top overall talent from the class of 2027 throughout the offseason. The Bulldogs recently missed out on the No. 1 tight end in Georgia, Grant Haviland, following his commitment to Vanderbilt, but Dollar would be the next best option should he ultimately land at Georgia.
Georgia tight ends coach Todd Hartley continues to do an outstanding job of securing elite tight end talent. Hartley and Georgia have developed a ton of NFL draft picks including 2026 third-round pick Oscar Delp.
Clemson and Texas are also in the mix for Dollar, but both schools are considered long shots.
