Kentucky Football continues to have a monstrous start to the 2027 recruiting class, the latest commitment coming on Wednesday from 4-star safety Marquis Bryant.
Hayes Fawcett broke the news first on Twitter that Bryant had made his pledge to Will Stein’s program. The former North Carolina pledge decommitted from Bill Belichick’s program earlier this month, and after getting Bryant for a visit to Lexington shortly after, he’s now a Wildcat.
A 5-foot-11, 185-pound product of Rolesville High School in North Carolina, Bryant is ranked 284th nationally by Rivals Industry Ranking, which factors in all of the major recruiting services. He’s ranked as high as 193rd nationally by 247 Sports, which also has him 18th among safeties and ninth in the state of North Carolina.
Bryant commits to Kentucky while holding additional scholarship offers from Ohio State, Georgia, Notre Dame, Michigan, Texas A&M, Tennessee, Miami, Missouri, Ole Miss, and Florida State, among others.
Kentucky’s 2027 recruiting class is now ranked 14th overall at On3 and sixth at 247 Sports. And at just 13 commits, there’s potential for it to move even higher as more commitments are made over the summer.
You could not have asked for a better start to the Will Stein era in Lexington!
