Motherwell fans have had their say after Saturday's 1-0 defeat to Falkirk, and while the result stings, there's still plenty of optimism heading into the final stretch of the season.
Alan summed up the frustration many are feeling: "Falkirk seem to be our bogey team and we have failed to capitalise on many opportunities we have had against them." But he was quick to highlight the bigger picture: "We continue to play attractive, competitive football which is pleasing to the eye. Let's take all of the positives from the season—the solid defence, the creative midfield, the resilience in attack, alongside the brilliance of individual players across the season—and show Hearts what we are capable of."
Taylor was more critical, giving credit where it's due: "Fair play to Falkirk, they've had our number this season and were the better team." He didn't hold back on his assessment of forward Tawanda Maswanhise: "Been saying since March that he should be dropped. Showed nothing today and doesn't even deserve to be considered for Player of the Year with how poor he's been since returning from AFCON."
Stuart took a measured approach, acknowledging the team's recent highs and lows: "No big surprise after the heroics at Ibrox. The team worked hard but sadly thought Falkirk deserved the win. The team have been really good and just need to pick themselves up for Hearts."
With the season winding down, Motherwell's focus now shifts to their upcoming clash with Hearts—a chance to channel the season's positives into a statement performance. For fans and players alike, it's about regrouping, staying resilient, and finishing strong.
