Former Leeds United cult hero and promotion winner Stuart Dallas says the Whites have "more than enough" to avoid relegation this season and he is "confident" they will do so. Daniel Farke's side beat West Ham last weekend to reach the FA Cup semi-finals for the first time since 1987 and are four points outside the Premier League relegation zone with seven games to play. "Let's not underestimate the achievement of the club getting to a semi-final of the FA Cup and still being in a strong position to stay up," he told BBC Radio Leeds as he opened a new padel court in the city.

Leeds United legend Stuart Dallas has thrown his full support behind the current squad, expressing strong confidence they will secure their Premier League status this season. The former fan favorite, a key figure in the club's recent history, believes the team possesses "more than enough" quality to beat the drop.

His optimism comes at a crucial time. Daniel Farke's side heads into the final stretch of the campaign sitting four points above the relegation zone with seven games left. Their momentum received a massive boost last weekend with a historic FA Cup victory over West Ham, sending Leeds to the semi-finals for the first time in 37 years.

"Let's not underestimate the achievement," Dallas emphasized while speaking to BBC Radio Leeds. "Getting to a semi-final of the FA Cup and still being in a strong position to stay up is incredible. The club, manager, and players deserve immense praise for sticking together through tough times."

Dallas, who made 267 appearances for the club and won Player of the Season honors during their promotion and subsequent top-flight campaign, knows what it takes to succeed at Elland Road. He pointed to the team's proven ability to compete at the highest level as the foundation for his belief. "They have shown they can do it," he stated. "The key now is consistency, and focusing all their energy on what's ahead, not the teams around them."

Looking ahead to a challenging fixture against Manchester United, Dallas remained bullish: "I'm confident they can go there and get a result." His connection to the club and city runs deep, having made Leeds his permanent home. "The city has given me so much," he added. "I am so proud and privileged to have represented this club. It means everything to me."
