Manchester City defender John Stones will bring an end to his 10-year stay at Etihad Stadium at the end of this season.
The 31-year-old became Pep Guardiola's second signing after penning his first club contract in August 2016, joining from fellow Premier League side Everton in a £47.5m deal, but his current deal was set to expire this summer.
Stones has carved out a trophy-laden career in the north west, making 293 club appearances in all competitions while also netting 19 goals and contributing nine assists.
His 19-strong major trophy haul includes six Premier League titles, one Champions League win, two FA Cup triumphs, five EFL Cup successes, three Community Shields, a Club World Cup title and a Super Cup winners' medal.
The England international announced his decision in an Instagram video, saying: "What does Manchester City mean to me? It has been my home for the past 10 years and it will be the home for the rest of my life.
"It has been a rollercoaster in many ways. I came as a kid and now I'm leaving as a man, having become a father, a husband and a very fulfilled player on the pitch.
"I've lived all of my dreams out and I've lifted all the things that I came here to achieve. Every dream has been smashed out of the park.
"I can only relate it to me as a little kid. If you said to me: 'You will be playing at Manchester City, winning everything, the fans will be singing your name wherever you go in the world' - I don't think I would've believed it.
"The fans mean everything to me. I hope I've made them proud. I hope they can relate to me as a person and as a player in terms of how I've represented the club.
"I've got endless memories with everyone, which I'll cherish forever. I've been so lucky to be in every dressing room with such incredible people.
"It will always be my home - and I'm honestly thankful from the bottom of my heart.
"This is my team forever, it always will be. I haven't got the words to say how much I love everything about it."
