The engines roared to life at Jennerstown Speedway Complex this past Saturday, marking an electrifying opening night of the season. The hometown crowd had plenty to cheer about as three local drivers—Carley Awtey, Doug Glessner, and Rick Meehleib—each claimed victory in their respective divisions.

In the Chargers race, Jenners' own Carley Awtey put on a show, charging from a fourth-place start to snag the checkered flag. She held off a determined Brian Ready, while Ken Burkholder rounded out the top three, setting the tone for a night of fierce competition.

The Modifieds saw Boswell native Doug Glessner dominate from the pole position, leading wire-to-wire to secure the win. He fended off challenges from Anthony Aiello and Dale Glessner, proving that home-track advantage is real when you have the speed to back it up.

Stoystown's Rick Meehleib made it a clean sweep for the locals in the Street Stocks, also starting from the pole and never looking back. He crossed the line ahead of Scott Mitchell and John Fama, showcasing the kind of precision driving that wins championships.

In the Late Models, polesitter Joe Maruca took command early and never relinquished the lead, besting RJ Dallape and Jarred Barclay. Meanwhile, the Pro Stocks delivered a thriller as Kyle Burkholder, starting fourth, worked his way through the pack to outrun Josh Dunmyer and Brent Bickerstaff.

The Four-Cylinders featured a standout performance from Seth Nedrow, who started second and drove with authority to take the win. Cameron Ruggles and Noah Hirko followed closely, rounding out the podium. Finally, the NE Crown Vic race belonged to polesitter Mike Bakalon, who held off Travis Beam and Kolby Burkholder to close out an unforgettable opening night.
