The Tennessee Volunteers are already building momentum for their 2027 recruiting class, securing a spot in the top seven for a highly-touted prospect. Four-star running back Kingston Miles from St. Mary's High School in St. Louis has named the Vols among his finalists, alongside powerhouse programs like Alabama, Auburn, USC, Missouri, Kentucky, and Kansas State.

Standing at 6-foot and 195 pounds, Miles is ranked as the No. 22 running back nationally in his class and the No. 4 player in the state of Missouri by 247Sports. His blend of size and speed makes him a coveted asset for any backfield, and Tennessee entered the race with a scholarship offer on January 8th.

While Miles has yet to visit Knoxville, the Vols' inclusion in his top group is a significant early step. His recruitment journey began with an offer from Wisconsin in April 2025, and he has since garnered attention from a wide range of programs, including Ole Miss, Michigan State, Nebraska, and Iowa.

Tennessee's 2027 class is already taking shape with six commitments, including players on both sides of the ball. Landing a dynamic running back like Miles would be a major boost, adding elite talent to a program known for its high-powered offense. As the recruiting cycle progresses, all eyes will be on this St. Louis standout's decision.
