Guy did not receive an invite to the NFL Combine, making his path to the NFL Draft much harder than most. After an impressive 2024 season, Guy took a step back in 2025 because of the positional change from Jaishawn Barham from linebacker to edge. Thus, production was limited for Guy, who had just 2.5 sacks, less than half of the 5.5 sacks he had the season before.
Guy played behind a ton of NFL talent in his time at Michigan. He learned behind guys like Aidan Hutchinson, David Ojabo, Mike Morris, Jaylen Harrell and Josaiah Stewart, along with Moore and Barham, throughout his career. That’s a ton of high-level talent, and part of the reason his playing time and potential development was staggered throughout his tenure with the Wolverines.
But there’s something NFL scouts saw to make him worthy of being selected, and now, he’ll have a chance to make his dreams come true at the next level.
