The Arizona Cardinals only had to wait one pick to make their selection in the second round of the 2026 NFL draft. They went with an offensive lineman.
The selected Texas A&M guard Chase Bistontis with the 34th overall pick in the 2026 draft. They chose him over Ohio State defensive lineman Kayden McDonald and Clemson EDGE T.J. Parker.
Bisontis is 6-5 and 315 pounds. He ran the 40 in 5.02 seconds and had a 7.53-second three-cone.
He was a three-year starter. As a freshman, he played right tackle and right guard. He was the Aggies' starting left guard for two seasons.
Bistontis was the No. 2-rated guard in the draft by many, including Dane Brugler.
The Cardinals signed Isaac Seumalo to be their starting left guard, but Bisontis could compete immediately for the starting right guard job, which Isaiah Adams had to end last season.
