Two Ohio high school baseball coaches have stepped down following an undisclosed team incident during a tournament trip to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. The Rocky River High School team was competing in the South Atlantic Bank Invitational last weekend when the situation occurred late Friday, April 10, into early Saturday morning.

School administration, upon learning of the event, ensured player safety, contacted local police, and initiated an investigation, leading to the postponement of team activities. Following the inquiry, head coach Ed Piazza and assistant coach Michael Harper submitted their resignations, which the district has accepted.

Assistant coach Craig Moro will now take over as the interim head coach for the varsity squad.
